Remember what games and applications were like before they required 3D hardware acceleration, 1 gigabyte of RAM, and $10 Million in development costs?

Remember when controllers didn't have 2 analog sticks and a gazillion buttons? How about when interfaces were simple, only having a few things on the screen at a time? Or when products weren't pushed out the door until they were finished?

Remember what it was like to be able to evaluate apps on how "cool" or "fun" they are?

We do.

Red Arrow Games was founded in February 2009 with the goal of bringing back these fond memories. Our philosophy is this:

  • No product will be released until it's good (and done). Sometimes an idea just plain sucks. We are able to embrace that possibility with open arms and go back to the drawing board if necessary. We also have years and years of professional game and app development experience under our belts. This allows us to understand quality standards and the importance of consumer-readiness.
  • Rather than avoid technology, we embrace it. But we do so in a way that focuses on intelligent and simple design first and foremost.
  • We listen to our audience. We test against the target demographic we're trying to reach to make sure we're on the right track and to learn what's working and not working.
